I took pictures of the camp itself just to show that each tent block is placed on a wooden platform that prevents the torrential downpour flooding the tent areas, of course.
There was a large open area where we and the locals played some football and some rounders etc. It was also home to the stalls which sold things from chocolate to machetes.
On the last night, we went on another Herp walk and although we found nothing, we released some Salamanders onto some leaves to allow them to live their lives in relative peace.
As soon as we got back, there was an immediate downpour and the outside ponds were revealed. This particular downpour lasted the majority of the night, and some of us didn't get much sleep.
The wooden platforms did us well!
