Scuba Pool Session 1 done!!!

Hey!
So I just got back home from my first practical scubadiving session at my local leisure centre!
I thought I'd have difficulty with equalising (removing air spaces from within the ears by holding the nose and blowing gently), and with only breathing out my mouth, but it wasn't that hard at all!
We went through some safety procedures and then basic swimming, but keeping your buoyancy neutral is a nightmare!
Next session is next week!

Update: Scuba Diving!

Hey everyone!

I had my first diving theory session last Wednesday, where we went over the vast amount of homework given to us the week before, and finished off by doing tests to ensure we know what we need to do when underwater!

I have homework to do for this Wednesday, where I'm reading chapters from the Divers Manual and watching sections of a DVD which, gives us a visual representation of the book chapters!

I hope to pass the upcoming tests as they're beneficial to my future as a diver!

Scuba Diving!!!

Hey,
I start my first scuba-diving session tomorrow! Well it's just sitting in a classroom for 2 hours and making notes for now, but I'm sure it'll be fun!
I have these sessions every Wednesday from next week, for a few weeks and then I start my ACTUAL pool scuba-diving sessions from 8-10pm at some point after that, for 2-3 hours, for 3 weeks!

I'll get my PADI certificate etc and I'll be a qualified diver for the rest of that year!

I'M BACK!

Hey,
I'm back from my stay at the Cayman Islands, sorry about the no posts, I managed to break my phone!

I'd have used other phones etc to update, but my 4 cousins kept me active and occupied every second of each day!

I'll just say that the temperature was fine, but mosquitoes are awful. A single 100ft walk, at night, outside and you're itching due to the insanely large amount of bites!

Other than that, the trip was fun, and my Auntie is doing well.
